About Me
Hi! I've lived in Milwaukee for over 35 years and love it here. Raised outside of Chicago, I value the warmth and friendliness of Midwesterners and enjoy living and working in the beauty of Wisconsin.
I have two grown children. My son and his family live here in the Milwaukee area and my daughter and her family live in Denver. I have two granddaughters, 1 and 2 years old. It's the best! In my free time I enjoy my family and friends, reading, gardening, hiking, studying french, curling, Pilates, and playing the piano.
My undergraduate degree is in Philosophy, Religion, and French from Purdue University and I received a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago. After moving to Wisconsin I completed a two-year post- graduate program at the Family Therapy Training Institute of Milwaukee. I am licensed in both Clinical Social Work and Marriage and Family Therapy.
A new addition to my practice is a puppy therapy-dog-in-training. His name is Remi and he's a miniature labradoodle. Some of my virtual clients now come in because they want the snuggles, but he's still learning that not everyone likes their faces washed!
My clinic is Growing Wisdom Psychotherapy, located in Glendale WI.
